Class 1 US Triangle Driver

Midland Transport Limitedis currently seeking professional Class 1 Linehaul Truck Drivers US Triangle.The Driver can be based out of any major city in the Maritimes including but not limited to Fredericton Moncton Halifax Saint John Charlottetown Truro and Summerside.

The selected candidate will be a reliable person with a strong work ethic positive attitude and strong commitment to providing Superior Quality Service.

• Running Linehaul from the Maritimes into United States eastern seaboard into Ontario/Quebec and then back to the Maritimes.
• Deliver freight to assigned locationsensuring timely delivery.
• Offload variable shipment weight and handle freight equipment properly and in a safe manner to avoid any damage.
• Communicate efficiently with the central dispatch and customers.
• Operate the tractor trailer in accordance with the safety regulation: company rules while following safety procedures and traffic laws.
• Perform pre-trip en-route and post-trip inspections and oversee all aspects of the truck operation.
• Report any incident accident injury or damage in a timely manner.
• Willingness to work linehaul legs into the United States including New York and New Jersey.

• Education Required: High School or GED.
• Class1 drivers license with a minimum of 3 years of safe tractor trailer driving experience in North America required.
• Clean drivers abstract and criminal search.
• Eligibility to receive a FAST card.
• Eligibility to cross the border with US.
• Familiarity with satellite systems.
• Excellent communication skills work ethic and reliability.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs. using the proper equipment.
• Safety conscious.
• Must have flexibility to work various shifts: Days Evenings Nights Weekends.
