Class 1 P&D Tractor Driver

Midland Transport is currently looking for a reliable and safety-focused Class 1 P&D Tractor Driver to join our team in Bathurst NB and support our local pick-up and delivery this role you will operate a tractor-trailer to complete scheduled local routes ensuring timely accurate and professional service to our customers. As operational needs require you may also be responsible for operating a straight truck to complete local pick-ups and deliveries.

Schedule: Monday to Friday 8:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.

Operate a Class 1 tractortrailer safely for local pickups and deliveries
Perform daily route assignments ensuring timely pickups and deliveries
Complete pretrip enroute and posttrip inspections as required by law
Support operations by operating a straight truck if required
Drive operate equipment and perform all tasks in accordance with safety regulations traffic laws and company policies
Use an electric or manual pallet jack as required to load unload or move freight

Minimum 3 years of safe tractor driving experience
Class one (1) drivers license
Clean drivers abstract and criminal search
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to safely lift move and handle freight as required
Strong communication and customer service skills.
Ability to work in various weather conditions and adapt to changing workloads
