Casual Dietary Aid

Hillside Pines is an Eden Registered long term care facility on thebeautiful South Shore of Nova Scotia. Located in the heart of BridgewaterHillside Pines offers an opportunity for a great work/life balance.

We are currently seeking an energetic Casual Dietary Aid committed to working with Elders and joining our team of dedicated carepartners.If you believe in person directed carein a positive team environment please apply.

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Basic Food Safety or other recognized Food Safety certificate.
• Food Handlers Course or willingness to attend next available course.
• WHMIS certification or willingness to attend next available course.
• Is a Certified Eden Associate or willing to train as same.
• Ability to read write and follow verbal and written instructions without constant supervision.
• Physically able to perform assigned duties.
• Ability to lead and work collaboratively with co-workers.
• Assist with all aspects of food service assisting with meal prep dining room set up serving of food cleaning of tables and dishes etc.
• Ability to relate well with the elderly sensitive to their emotional physical and spiritual needs.
• Physically able to work 8-hour shifts.
