Business Systems Analyst Guidewire PolicyCenter

This role is hybrid and requires you to be at our downtown Toronto and/or Client office at a minimum 4 days per week subject to change at any time.

CGI is seeking an experienced Senior Business Systems Analyst (BSA) with strong functional knowledge of Guidewire PolicyCenter to join our team in Toronto.

In this role you will collaborate with business and technology stakeholders to understand business needs translate requirements into clear functional specifications and user stories and support the successful delivery of Guidewire PolicyCenter initiatives within an Agile environment.

This is a contract opportunity well suited to someone who combines strong business analysis capabilities with hands-on functional knowledge of Guidewire PolicyCenter.

Collaborate with business and technology stakeholders to gather analyze and document business and functional requirements.
Translate business needs into clear requirements user stories acceptance criteria and process flows.
Apply Guidewire PolicyCenter functional knowledge to support solution analysis and delivery.
Facilitate discussions with stakeholders to clarify requirements dependencies and business processes.
Analyze existing processes and identify requirements for system and process changes.
Work closely with developers QA professionals product owners and other project stakeholders throughout the delivery lifecycle.
Participate actively in Agile ceremonies including backlog refinement sprint planning reviews and other team activities.
Support requirement clarification and functional analysis during development and testing.
Assist with issue analysis and requirement validation throughout implementation.
Maintain clear and accurate business and functional documentation.

5 years of Business Systems Analyst (BSA) experience.
Strong functional knowledge of Guidewire PolicyCenter.
Demonstrated experience gathering analyzing and documenting business and functional requirements.
Experience developing user stories and process flows.
Experience collaborating within Agile delivery teams.
Assets
Guidewire certification.
Knowledge or experience within the Property & Casualty (P&C) insurance domain.

CGI is providing a reasonable estimate of the pay range for this role. The determination of this range includes factors such as skill set level geographic market experience and training and licenses and certifications. Compensation decisions depend on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $45 to $70 per hour. This role is an existing vacancy.
