Are you eligible for co-op at D2L

Our co-op roles are open to applicants who are:

• Currently enrolled in a post-secondary program and will not graduate prior to this co-op role (preference for students enrolled in an official co-op program)
• Able to work 40 hours per week
• Able to work in-person from a D2L office (office location dependent on role)

Job Summary:

As a Business Insights & Analytics Coordinator Co-op youll join a dynamic team focused on driving actionable insights automation and operational excellence across the business. Youll work cross-functionally leveraging AI tools data and analytics and automation to identify opportunities for efficiency automate processes and help manage and reduce backlog. Your contributions will deliver immediate benefit and create sustainable improvements that persist after your placement ends.

Youll gain hands-on experience with business intelligence tools data analysis and process improvement collaborating with team members across disciplines. Were looking for a business- and technically minded individual who thrives in a collaborative fast-paced environment and is passionate about using data to drive impact.

Please note this role will be fully in person from D2Ls headquarters in Kitchener.

Job Responsibilities:

• Automation & Efficiency:Identify design and implement automation opportunities to streamline reporting analytics and operational workflows.
• Backlog Management:Analyzeand helpprioritizethe teams backlog recommending and implementing solutions to reduce bottlenecks and improve throughput.
• Business Insights: Support the team in delivering high-impact analytics and insights to stakeholders using tools such asSQLPowerBIand various AI tools.
• Process Improvement: Review andoptimizeexisting processes collaborating with business product and technology teams to drive measurable improvements.
• Sustainable Impact: Document solutions and share knowledge to ensure improvements are sustained after your placement ends.
• Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams to understand business needs and deliver data-driven recommendations.
• Learning & Innovation: Continuously seek opportunities to learn new tools andtechniques andapply creative thinking to solve complex problems.

Required Skills:

• Continuous improvement mindset with experience working in Agile teams
• Strong communication collaboration and data analytics skills.
• Experience with business intelligence tools (e.g.PowerBITableau)SQLand ETLs.
• Excellentorganizationalskills attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks.

Education Recommendations:

• Currently enrolled in Engineering Business Administration or related
• Previousco-op experiencestrongly preferred
