Job Summary

Responsibilities
What Youll Do:
Blade Inspection
- Conduct thorough inspections of saw blades to identify visible defects ensuring compliance with quality standards to minimize operational downtime.
Blade Maintenance
- Use specialized tools and techniques to hammer out imperfections and restore saw blades to optimal condition.
Forklift Operation
- Safely operate a forklift to transport blades and filing equipment supporting smooth and efficient operations.
Automated Equipment Management
- Operate and program automated grinding machines inputting recipes to maintain blade precision and consistent performance.
Safety Compliance
- Follow strict workplace safety standards proactively identifying risks to maintain a safe and secure work environment.
Qualifications
What Were Looking For:
Education and Experience:
- Minimum: High School Diploma or GED.
- Preferred: Additional technical training in equipment maintenance and one year of experience in blade filing or sawmill equipment maintenance.
Skills and Certifications:
- Forklift operator certification (required).
- Knowledge of blade inspection repair techniques and automated grinding machine operation (preferred).
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Ability to lift pull and hammer materials with precision.
- Positive attitude teamwork skills and eagerness to learn new processes.
