Position Summary: Axalta is seeking a dependable and safety-focused Batch Maker to join our manufacturing team on the night shift. This role is responsible for producing high-quality coating products by following batch formulas handling raw materials operating production equipment and maintaining safety and quality standards in a fast-paced production environment.

Responsibilities

  • Manufacture batches according to production formulas and work instructions.
  • Accurately weigh measure and mix raw materials.
  • Handle solvents resins pigments and other production materials.
  • Operate mixing and production equipment safely and efficiently.
  • Complete batch records and production documentation.
  • Monitor product quality and follow standard operating procedures.
  • Maintain a clean organized and safe work environment.
  • Work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
  • Follow all company safety quality and environmental guidelines.

Qualifications

  • Previous manufacturing production or batch-making experience is preferred.
    Ability to speak read and write English required.
  • Successful completion of a background check and physical examination
  • Reach truck and counterbalance forklift experience preferred.
  • High school diploma or GED preferred.
  • Must be able to lift at least 55 lbs. and wear required PPE
