Job Summary
The Systems Specialist is a collaborative and key member of the Cloud and Data Center team. This position will support and maintain the lifecycle of services and solutions to satisfy business and operational requirements using internal and industry best practices.

All successful applicants must meet requirements for Canadian Controlled Goods Program (CGP) Canadian Government Security clearance and U.S. International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR).
Responsibilities
- Design and implement scalable secure and highly available Azure cloud solutions
- Collaborate with architects and developers to translate business requirements into technical solutions
- Lead the deployment and configuration of Azure services including compute storage networking and identity
- Implement infrastructure as code (IaC) using tools like ARM templates Bicep or Terraform
- Ensure system reliability and performance through monitoring alerting and automated recovery strategies
- Conduct root cause analysis and implement long-term fixes for incidents and outages
- Optimize cloud costs and resource utilization
- Maintain security and compliance standards across all Azure environments
- Provide technical mentorship and guidance to junior engineers
Qualifications
- Education Required: A university degree college diploma or a related discipline
- 3-8 yearsofexperience in IT Environments (Systems)
- Knowledge/Experience in: Active Directory (AD) AD Federated Services (ADFS) Server OS (Windows/Linux) Virtualization Storage Enterprise Backup Services
- Knowledge/ExperienceinCloud Platforms such as Azure and Amazon
- Effective customer service and communication skills
- Strong attention to detail while being able to pivot to changing priorities
- Work well in a collaborative environment
