We have an immediate opening for aContract (1-Year temporary full-time) Apprentice Aircraft Maintenance Engineer M with potential to extend or convert to permanent full-time employmentfor the Langley Operations Department. This position will be based out of the Langley facility British Columbia and will report to the Crew Chief.

What youll do

• Perform Aircraft Maintenance services on a variety of helicopter types
• Conduct light to heavy repairs
• Carry our maintenance recurring inspections and calendar inspections.
• Troubleshooting and ensuring operational performance and standards of the entire aircraft
• Recording work on Company build sheets or applicable forms
• Following established maintenance techniques and adhering to standard practices
• Placing basic parts orders
• Assists other mechanics with troubleshooting
• In depth knowledge of processes
• May assist Lead Hand as required
• May have contact with customers

Required Qualifications

• Formal Transport Canadarecognized AME training (BCIT or equivalent accredited program)
• Understanding of Canadian Aviation Regulations
• Demonstrated mechanical aptitude and hands-on experience through formal training personal projects school labs or previous work (e.g. use of hand tools measuring tools basic disassembly/assembly interpreting mechanical drawings)
• Must be legally authorized to work in Canada on a permanent basis.

Preferred Characteristics

• Experience with maintenanceand installation preferably on AS 332 Super Puma and/or AS350 Aircraft is an asset

• AME M license considered a strong asset

• Thorough understanding of all technical documents such as: technical bulletins alert service bulletins etc.
• Ability to work effectively independently or as part of a team.
• Willing to work overtime.
• Ability to work with minimal supervision

Hourly Rate: $26.41 - $33.01
