Today our organization operates 28 dealership locations representing 16 leading automotive brands across British Columbia Alberta and continued success is driven by talented people who are committed to delivering exceptional service and supporting one another in a professional team-oriented Youll DoAs our Payroll Administrator youll be responsible for ensuring payroll is processed accurately and on schedule for assigned dealership locations. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:Processing bi-weekly and semi-monthly payrolls for both hourly and salaried employeesMaintaining accurate employee payroll records and updating payroll information as requiredCalculating earnings overtime statutory deductions taxable benefits and other payroll adjustmentsReconciling payroll accounts and assisting with month-end and year-end reporting activitiesEnsuring payroll practices comply with applicable federal and provincial legislation tax requirements and internal policiesPreparing and issuing Records of Employment (ROEs)Completing payroll documentation including CPT30 elections T2200 declarations and other required formsProcessing payroll-related ICBC and Workers Compensation documentationSupporting internal and external payroll audits while identifying opportunities to improve payroll processesResponding promptly and professionally to employee payroll questions and concernsWorking closely with Human Resources and Finance to support payroll-related activitiesSafeguarding confidential employee and company information at all timesWhat Youll BringThe ideal candidate combines technical payroll expertise with strong organizational and customer service skills.
