Accounting manager

Are you passionate about accounting known for your rigor leadership and ability to optimize processes As an Accounting Manager you will play a key role in managing and supervising our accounting operations while working with a dedicated and dynamic team.

Your main responsibilities:

• Prepare UAP Inc.s consolidated financial statements on a monthly basis and perform accounting analyses;
• Serve as the primary point of contact between GPC and the UAP accounting team;
• Organize supervise and train head office accountants and treasury clerks.
• Act as an advisor to departments to improve accounting procedures internal controls and compliance with corporate policies;
• Supervise and participate in the preparation of head office budgets and consolidated budget reports;
• Collaborate with the Corporate Assistant Controller on external and internal audits ensuring compliance with key controls for the cash cycle;
• Ensure that accounting policies and standards are understood and applied by all accounting staff.
   

Qualifications :

To join our team you need among other things:

• A bachelors degree and/or a recognized accounting designation with a minimum of 5 years in a similar position;
• Knowledge of accounting theory consolidation and internal controls (asset);
• Bilingualism in French and English both spoken and written as you will need to collaborate with colleagues and clients across Canada.
