Account Manager
Job Summary
We are currently seeking an HVAC Account Manager to join our team in Calgary Alberta. Reporting to the Director of Sales Western Canada the Account Manager is responsible for managing and growing client relationships within the Plumbing and HVAC service portfolio. This role involves identifying opportunities for maintenance agreements retrofit projects and energy-efficient solutions while ensuring exceptional customer satisfaction and contract performance.

- Acts as the primary liaison between clients and internal teams ensuring seamless service execution.
- Identifies opportunities for maintenance agreements retrofit projects and energy optimization.
- Contributes to revenue growth and operational excellence by managing contracts and achieving sales targets.
Duties and Responsibilities:â
Account Management
- Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned clients ensuring all HVAC and Mechanical service and maintenance needs are met.
- Build strong long-term customer relationships and maintain regular communication with facility and property managers.
- Conduct site visits to review contract performance equipment condition and identify improvement opportunities.
- Perform quarterly business review with their clients.
- Consistent and regular management of clients inventory and asset list.
- Provide quotes for service repairs and small retrofit projects.
Sales & Business Development
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities with existing and prospective clients.
- Develop and present proposals for preventive maintenance programs system upgrades and energy optimization projects.
- Work collaboratively with the operations and estimating teams to develop accurate quotes and proposals.
Operational Support
- Coordinate with service and project teams to ensure timely delivery and quality of work.
- Monitor service contracts to ensure compliance with scope budget and customer expectations.
- Assist in resolving customer concerns or service issues promptly and professionally.
Financial Management
- Achieve assigned sales and renewal targets.
- Manage account profitability by monitoring margins costs and contract renewals.
- Prepare sales forecasts and reports for management review.
Must haves:ââ
- Minimum 35 years of experience in HVAC and Plumbing service sales account management or a related mechanical field.
- Strong understanding of HVAC systems maintenance practices and building operations.
- Proven track record of developing and maintaining customer relationships in a technical or service environment.
- Excellent communication negotiation and presentation skills.
- Proficient in CRM and Microsoft Office applications.
- Valid drivers license and ability to travel locally.
Nice to haves:
- Previous experience as a Refrigeration HVAC or BAS Technician a definite asset.
- Familiarity with commercial institutional and industrial facilities.
This is a new position. Expected annual compensation; $90000 - $115000
