310J Trailer Mechanic

As a Trailer Mechanic you will be responsible for the inspection maintenance diagnostics and repair of commercial trailers ensuring equipment remains safe compliant and road-ready.

• Diagnose troubleshoot and repair commercial trailers.
  
• Perform preventative maintenance inspections (PMs).
  
• Repair and maintain air brake systems air lines suspensions wheel ends lighting systems and structural damage.
  
• Conduct structural repairs including welding and fabrication as required.
  
• Perform trailer body repairs flooring repairs door repairs and landing gear maintenance.
  
• Complete MTO safety inspections and ensure compliance with provincial regulations.
  
• Accurately document repairs and maintenance performed.
  
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
  

• Valid 310J Trailer Technician certification.
  
• Minimum 3 years of trailer repair experience preferred.
  
• Strong knowledge of air brake systems suspensions electrical systems and trailer structures.
  
• Welding and fabrication experience considered a strong asset.
  
• Ability to diagnose and repair a variety of trailer makes and models (dry vans flat bed and reefers).
  
• Own tools required.
  
• Valid drivers license with a clean driving record.
  
• Must be able to clear a pre-employment check which includes a Criminal Record Check.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
  

• Competitive hourly wage: $34.00 - $40.00/hr
