Senior Product Owner

Key responsibilities:

• Own the end-to-end delivery of data and analytics products ensuring alignment with business objectives and data strategy
• Define document and govern data models business rules transformation logic and data standards across analytical solutions
• Lead the design and implementation of data architectures including Data Lakes Lakehouses Medallion architectures (Bronze Silver Gold) and enterprise reporting layers
• Collaborate with data engineers architects analysts and business stakeholders to define data requirements and translate them into scalable technical solutions
• Drive data quality initiatives by establishing validation cleansing reconciliation and monitoring processes
• Oversee the creation and maintenance of data catalogs data dictionaries business glossaries and metadata documentation
• Define and validate source-to-target mappings transformation rules normalization standards and data integration requirements
• Analyze complex datasets to identify trends patterns data issues and opportunities for business value creation
• Support the design and optimization of semantic models reporting datasets and Power BI analytical solutions

What You Bring:

• University degree (Bachelors or Masters) in IT or a business-related field
• Solid knowledge of globally recognized business analysis and product ownership standards (IIBA PMI Scrum Alliance)
• Strong technical understanding of:
  • Azure Synapse
  • Data engineering concepts
  • Power BI and dashboarding
• Practical experience with Agile frameworks (Scrum and/or SAFe)
• Experience working with backlog management tools (Azure DevOps Jira)
• Excellent communication facilitation and presentation skills
• Strong analytical thinking decision-making and problem-solving abilities
• High level of personal accountability ethics and trustworthiness
• Ability to adapt quickly in a fast-changing environment
• Strong teamwork negotiation and conflict-resolution skills
• Proficiency in MS Office tools (Word Excel OneNote PowerPoint)
• Hands-on experience with modeling and diagramming tools (Sparx Enterprise Architect ARIS MS Visio)
• Experience with collaboration tools such as Mural and Miro
• Fluent English (written and spoken)

Nice to Have:

• Extensive experience with the Microsoft 365 ecosystem
• Experience working with Microsoft platformbased products (Azure SharePoint On-Premises SharePoint Online M365)
• End-to-end lifecycle experience using Azure DevOps
• Relevant professional certifications (IIBA PMI Scrum Alliance)
• Knowledge of the German language
