QA Engineer – Sports Betting – Sofia, Bulgaria

Youll spend most of it on design execute and maintain manual and automated test cases test web applications APIs backend services and integrations across the sports betting platform perform functional regression integration smoke and end-to-end testing identify document and track software defects through to resolution validate new features against functional and technical requirements and perform API testing and verify data flows between different services and systems.

Less often youll also test real-time functionality and platform behaviour during high-volume sporting events develop and maintain automated testing frameworks and scripts collaborate closely with Developers Product Managers Business Analysts and DevOps teams and participate in requirement reviews and provide QA input during the development lifecycle.

Were looking for someone with 3 years of professional experience in Software Quality Assurance strong understanding of software testing methodologies and QA best practices experience with both manual and automated testing hands-on experience with automation tools such as Playwright Cypress Selenium or similar experience testing REST APIs using tools such as Postman or similar good understanding of JavaScript/TypeScript Java Python or another programming/scripting language and experience with SQL and validating data within relational databases Familiarity with Git CI/CD pipelines Jira and modern development workflows.
