Were hiring a Business Analyst at Merkle in Sofia.

The purpose of the role

We are looking for a Business Analyst to bridge the gap between business needs and technology this role you will work closely with clients and cross-functional teams to identify requirements define solution scope and ensure the successful delivery of digital products and software solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Gather analyse and document business functional and non-functional requirements.

• Communicate directly with clients to understand their business needs and translate them into actionable solution specifications.

• Define project scope business processes and product requirements.

• Create manage and prioritise the business backlog based on business value.

• Facilitate workshops interviews brainstorming sessions and requirements discovery activities.

• Ensure requirements traceability throughout the entire product lifecycle.

• Collaborate closely with development UX/UI content QA and client management teams.

• Support process improvement initiatives and identify opportunities for optimisation and digital transformation.

• Monitor the impact of implemented changes and recommend improvements where needed.

• Provide pre-sales support including effort estimation solution scoping proposal preparation and resource planning.

• Stay informed about industry trends emerging technologies and their impact on clients businesses.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Business Analyst in software development digital products or technology projects.

• Strong understanding of software development methodologies and project management practices.

• Experience eliciting and documenting requirements through workshops interviews and stakeholder engagement.

• Excellent analytical problem-solving and critical-thinking skills.

• Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities.

• Excellent English communication skills both written and verbal.

• Ability to work independently manage priorities and meet deadlines in a dynamic environment.

• Experience with business process modelling and requirements management tools.

Nice to Have

• Experience with e-commerce platforms such as Salesforce Commerce Cloud Adobe Commerce (Magento) Shopify or similar solutions.

• Basic understanding of software architecture and modern web technologies.

• Experience working on digital transformation or enterprise software projects.
