The position ofAccountantAccountsReceivableispart oftheOrder to Cash service lineof Group BIC Services in Sofia Bulgaria.This positionhas toensuretimelyand effective Accounts Receivable management in line with internal procedures:
Responsible fordaily processing of incoming payments in compliance with financial policies and procedures
Responsible fordaily follows up with customers to ensure effective and on-time cash collection of receivables
Therole requiresunderstanding of Accounts Receivable processes and high engagement with various departments & stakeholders.
Key accountabilities:
Process payments: perform payment booking with invoice matching customer deductions and/or advances
Cash collection: regular follow-up (reminders phone calls) with customers/Commercial Unit to ensure effective and on-time collection of receivables
Accounts reconciliation
Develop and implement strategies to improve efficiency and effectiveness in accounts receivable & collection processes
Participating in local meetings
Act as key subject matter expert regarding specific country processes & customer specifics.
Contact customers on appropriate communication channel (phone e-mail chat ) as needed
Continuous improvement: identify propose and implement development activities to improve performance on a continuous basis
Knowledgeskills and experience:
High school degree (University education is desired)
1-2 year of experience inaShared Servicesenvironmentfor a global companyis required
3-5 year of experiencefor a global companyis a plus
AdvancedEnglish and Greek
Exposure to ERPs;JDEisaplus
Good communicationskills
Customer service orientation and attention to details
