Sr. Engineer Developer Velocity

You will be part of the Developer Velocity Squad within the Levis Shared Platform & Services Technology Organizationa team dedicated to accelerating software development speed and quality byeliminatingbottlenecksoptimizingdevelopment tools and processes and enhancing overall developer effectiveness and experience.

As a member of the Developer Velocity Squad you will join a growing team focused on enhancingdevelopmentexperience across the organization while enabling scalable secure and AI-enabled DevOps practices that support Levis digital transformation journey.

• Responsible for standardizing implementing &maintainingthe Enterprise DevOps Toolchain.

• Design and implement scalable service catalogs DevOps automation frameworks CI/CD pipelines & workflows with advanced deployment strategies like blue-green and canary releases.

• Drive adoption of AI-enabled DevOps and engineering practices to improve developer productivity accelerate delivery cycles reduce operational overhead and enable intelligent decision-making across the software development lifecycle.

• Ensure the deployment framework is seamlessly integrated across all workstreams adhering to standardized processes and best practices.

• Provide ongoing support for production and development environments within a dynamic ecosystem of integrated systems.Lead knowledge-sharing initiatives and training on DevOps tools and practices.

• Develop andmaintaincomprehensive technical documentation and requirements related to DevOps technologies ensuring clarity accuracy and accessibility for relevant stakeholders.

• Drive continuous measurement and improvement of developer productivity andexperience through data-driven insights tooling enhancements and streamlined engineering workflows.

• Candidate shouldpossess7 years of hands-on experience in designing implementing andmaintainingCI/CD infrastructure and pipelines using tools such asGitHubGitHub ActionsHarness andJenkins.

• 5years of experience integrating CI/CD pipelines with code quality security and compliance tools to proactivelyidentifybugs vulnerabilities and code quality issues.

• Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience in administering and managing Artifactory for artifact repository management package lifecycle governance dependency management and CI/CD integrations.

• Strong understanding and hands-on experience in leveraging AI-powered developer productivity tools such as GitHub Copilot Anthropic Claude and OpenAI solutions to accelerate software development code generation troubleshooting automation and engineering efficiency.

• Strong troubleshootinganalyticaland problem-solving abilities.

• Strong communicationcollaboration& leadership skills.

• UnderstandingSDLC AgilePractices& ITIL Frameworks.

• Required: Bachelors degree in computer science or equivalent;mastersdegree preferred.
