Facilities Coordinator

a leading South African online retailer is looking for highly talented Facilities Coordinator to join our team at the Kwa Zulu Natal DC

This position reports to the :Facilities Manager

Your responsibilities can include:

Qualifications and experience:

• 2 years of professional experience in a similar role
• Relevant tertiary qualifications a plus OH& and knowledge building standards
• Provide first line contact for the Facilities Department for all internal and external customers/contractors
• Liaise with suppliers/contractors to follow through on approved work.
• Perform regular building inspections and maintain inspection documentation.
• Assist in the compliance of the Health and Safety policy and safe working practices
• Respond to building emergencies as needed and be a member of the emergency response team
• Plans and facilitates employee desk moves
• Collection of post and packages from SAPO
• Oversees installation inspections repairs and maintenance of buildings infrastructure and facility equipment
• Use the existing ticket system to track open requests and to provide regular updates
• User access management via the existing access control system
• Retrieving CCTV footage or access control logs when required provided necessary approval has been given by Exco
• Manage parking allocation based on company policy
