We are looking for an experienced Test Specialist to join a DevOps team delivering state-of-the-art applications and components for the port this role you will be responsible for defining executing and automating testing processes to ensure high-quality software delivery across complex enterprise systems.
You will work closely with developers product owners and architects to define test strategies and implement robust quality assurance frameworks across the software lifecycle.
- Define and implement test strategies and test plans (functional regression integration)
- Develop and maintain automated tests (UI API end-to-end)
- Execute performance and load testing activities
- Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines
- Report test results and provide quality improvement recommendations
- Collaborate with development teams to ensure testable system architecture
- Support business acceptance testing and release validation
- Use and maintain test management tools and documentation
- 8 years of experience in quality assurance / testing roles
- Strong experience with Java
- Extensive experience testing enterprise applications including transactional systems and integrations
- Experience with mobile testing
- Strong background in regression testing
- Experience in test automation frameworks and practices
- Fluency in Dutch (CEFR C2 level required)
- Experience leading or coordinating cross-functional teams
- API testing experience (e.g. Postman REST-based testing)
- CI/CD experience (Jenkins or GitLab CI)
- Tools: Confluence Jira JMeter Postman
- Experience with Selenium or similar automation tools
- Knowledge of release management processes
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments
- Experience supporting business acceptance testing
- Familiarity with test management tools (e.g. HP ALM SpiraTeam)
- Basic programming knowledge (Java JavaScript or Python)
You are detail-oriented analytical and quality-driven. You thrive in agile environments and take a proactive approach to improving software quality across the entire delivery pipeline. You are comfortable working closely with technical and business stakeholders and ensuring that systems are robust reliable and well-tested.
