Job Summary

Senior R&D Engineer

Role Overview

We are looking for a Senior R&D Engineer to develop and optimize technically complex software in a C and Linux-based environment. The role combines hands-on software development with technical leadership and team coaching.

Key Responsibilities

Analyse design develop test debug and optimize software components.
Work with complex existing systems and technical documentation.
Lead and coach development teams and provide technical guidance.
Contribute to Agile development processes in a leading role.
Manage software build CI/CD release and versioning processes.
Develop high-performance and technically critical software solutions.
Collaborate on R&D initiatives and troubleshoot complex technical challenges.

Requirements

Minimum 5 years of experience in software development.
Strong experience with C Linux Git and CI/CD.
Proven experience in an R&D or technically complex environment.
Experience leading and coaching development teams.
Strong programming testing debugging and problem-solving skills.
Knowledge of CMake DevOps and Agile methodologies.
Experience with embedded or high-performance software is an advantage.
Knowledge of Python SIP or 3GPP/MCX is a plus.
Experience with telecom communication or mission-critical systems is advantageous.
Dutch: CEFR C2/native-level proficiency.
