Job Summary

Senior Java Developer

We are looking for a Senior Java Developer with at least 7 years of experience to support the modernization of existing Java applications. You will play a key role in migrating applications from GlassFish 2/3/4 to Payara 5 while ensuring stability performance and compatibility across the application landscape.

Key Responsibilities

Migrate and modernize Java applications from GlassFish to Payara 5.
Develop maintain and enhance enterprise Java applications.
Work with Java Spring Boot Spring Hibernate Gradle and GWT.
Develop and optimize solutions using DB2 and PostgreSQL databases.
Perform application testing troubleshooting and performance optimization.
Collaborate with technical teams to deliver high-quality software solutions.

Requirements

Minimum 7 years of Java development experience.
Strong experience with Java 8 Spring Boot Spring Framework Hibernate Gradle and GWT.
Knowledge of DB2 and PostgreSQL.
Experience with GlassFish and Payara application servers.
Experience with application migration and modernization projects.
Experience within the social security sector is an advantage.

Languages

French: Professional working proficiency.
Dutch: Passive knowledge.
English: Passive knowledge.

Work Arrangement

Hybrid working model.
Location: Sint-Joost-Ten-Noode Brussels.
