Senior Java Developer

Knowledge:

• JAVA 21
• Spring MVC Spring Boot
• TDD
• Integration testing
• Quarkus is a plus
• Microservices ecosystem is mandatory
• Event-driven architecture is a plus
• Automation tests and testing

Experience required:

• Oracle database
• Jenkins pipelines
• OpenShift
• Demonstrable experience with testing and test automation within Java environments
• Experience with independently testing and validating self-developed features
• Experience with CI/CD integration of tests (e.g. via Jenkins pipelines)

Responsibilities:

• Main task: Developing user stories regarding CM services for registering submitting and modifying member data taking into account business-requested functionalities.
• Pair programming with the developers
• Capable of taking initiative (technical and methodological).
• Secondary tasks:
• Assisting the tester in performing functional tests to validate the developed software.
• Creating automated tests.
• Assisting the junior developers in developing the software.
• Full end-to-end responsibility for own developed features including testing and validation.
• Writing maintaining and executing automated tests (unit integration and potentially UI/API testing).
• Independently testing delivered functionalities before delivery to the team or the business.
• Actively contributing to the test strategy and quality assurance within the team.
