We are looking for an experienced Senior Functional Analyst to support the analysis specification and procurement of a new business-critical application. The successful candidate will lead requirements gathering facilitate stakeholder workshops evaluate solution options and prepare procurement documentation for a large-scale software implementation.
The assignment involves defining a future-proof solution that integrates with multiple existing systems and evaluating whether a commercial off-the-shelf solution or a custom-built application provides the best functional and financial value.
This role requires a strong communicator who can translate complex technical and business requirements into clear specifications helping stakeholders reach informed decisions within tight timelines.
Key Responsibilities
Lead functional analysis for a business-critical software platform.
Conduct workshops and interviews with business and technical stakeholders.
Gather analyse and document business and functional requirements.
Produce clear functional specifications and solution documentation.
Evaluate solution options and support make-or-buy assessments.
Prepare RFIs RFPs business cases and procurement documentation.
Define user stories and associated test scenarios.
Create functional designs for multi-tier web and mobile applications.
Ensure integration requirements with multiple enterprise systems are captured.
Collaborate closely with Product Owners architects developers and business stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.
Required Skills & Experience
Minimum 5 years experience as a Functional Analyst working on large business-critical applications.
Proven experience producing RFI RFP and Business Case documentation.
Minimum 5 years experience supporting objective product selection and solution evaluation.
Minimum 5 years experience writing user stories and functional test scenarios.
Experience working in complex technical environments.
Strong stakeholder management and workshop facilitation skills.
Experience defining functional specifications for enterprise software.
Native-level Dutch (CEFR C2) is mandatory.

Experience with requirements analysis and design concepts for:
Object-Oriented (OO) systems
Multi-tier applications
Web-enabled applications
UML
Knowledge of data modelling and process modelling techniques.
