IT Support Technician (User Support) for NATO with security clearance
Job Summary
A NATO site in Mons needs a user support technician to cover a short-term is the hands-on end of IT: the computing printing and network devices people actually use keptinstalled configured and working.
- Installing maintaining and operating the full range of computing printing and networkdevices behind office automation services.
- Installing and configuring COTS software on networked and standalone workstations and networkclient software on LAN workstations.
- Configuring local server software and special peripheral devices.
- Creating maintaining and troubleshooting user access on static and mobile devices.
- Working with organisational units in Active Directory and Group Policy.
- Executing support requests and work orders and preparing software packages for automaticdeployment.
- Contributing to IT security compliance and remediation and to the incident changeconfiguration and asset management processes through the ITSM toolkit.
- CompTIA A or Microsoft Certified IT Professional.
- Proven hands-on experience with Microsoft System Center Configuration Manager.
- Proven experience with Active Directory objects user accounts and permissions.
- Three years in a CIS environment three years supporting IT users desktop hardware andsoftware and three years in an IT administration role.
- A good working knowledge of PC capabilities and deployment current operating systems andoffice automation software.
- Mons Belgium full time on site regular office hours.
- 28 September to 31 Decemberhours in total.
- Graded at the equivalent of NATO G10.
- You must hold a valid clearance and be a citizen of a NATO member country with the right towork in Belgium.
