Functional analysis advisor

Duration: Until December 2027 (19-month contract full-time)

Were looking for an experienced Functional Analysis Advisor to join a dynamic Project Support Team supporting IT development teams by driving best practices in functional analysis modeling testing and collaboration tools.

This is an excellent opportunity for a senior professional who enjoys mentoring teams improving development processes and working with modern collaboration platforms and AI-driven solutions.

• Advise and support IT development teams on functional analysis methodologies and best practices.
• Manage and evolve Jira and Confluence including user support administration technical features (APIs macros) and process improvements.
• Participate in cloud migration initiatives and evaluate alternative collaboration solutions.
• Define and manage end-to-end functional testing strategies including:
  • Test planning
  • Test case creation
  • Functional test execution
  • Test reporting
• Support analysts with documentation modeling and testing tools.
• Conduct quality reviews audits and ensure compliance with analysis standards.
• Identify opportunities to improve development processes and documentation.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure tool and process interoperability.
• Explore and promote the adoption of AI solutions within software development processes.

10 years of experience in Functional Analysis or a similar role

Strong expertise with:

• Jira
• Confluence
• Functional Analysis
• Data Modeling
• Agile & Scrum
• Functional Testing & Test Design

Solid understanding of:

• Requirements gathering
• Object-Oriented development principles
• Software development lifecycle
• Testing methodologies

Experience with UML BPMN ArchiMate or other modeling frameworks is considered a strong advantage.

• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
• Passion for process improvement and knowledge sharing
• Experience coaching and supporting development teams
• Interest in Artificial Intelligence and its application within software development
• Ability to work under pressure in fast-paced project environments

• French Native
• English Professional
• Dutch Good passive understanding (minimum)
