Finance Analytics Intern

Job Purpose

The Finance Analytics Intern will support day-to-day analytical and project-based activities within the Finance team. The role offers hands-on exposure to financial reporting business performance analysis dashboard development and process improvement initiatives. Through collaboration with cross-functional stakeholders the intern will contribute to data-driven decision-making reporting standardization and continuous improvement while gaining practical experience in financial planning performance management and business analytics.

Responsibilities

• Develop maintain and enhance financial dashboards and reports using applicable reporting and visualization tools.
• Analyze financial and operational data to identify trends risks opportunities and performance drivers.
• Support the preparation of presentations and analytical reports for management and key stakeholders.
• Monitor and track key financial and business KPIs ensuring data accuracy and consistency.
• Assist in the digitalization and automation of financial reporting processes.
• Translate business requirements into actionable analytics and reporting solutions.
• Support budgeting forecasting and performance review activities through data analysis.
• Collaborate with Finance and other business functions to improve reporting efficiency and decision-making processes.

Qualifications & Experience Required

Education

• Bachelors or Masters degree in Finance Business Administration Economics Engineering Data Analytics or a related field.

Experience

• Previous internship or project experience in finance business analytics reporting or data analysis is a plus.

Technical Skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office
• Experience with Power BI Tableau or other data visualization tools is a plus
• Basic understanding of financial statements and financial performance metrics is a plus.

Language Skills

• Proficient in English.
• Other European languages are a plus.
