Are you ready to begin an exciting adventure in hospitality At Sapphire House Antwerp a five-star hotel in a beautifully restored 16thcentury landmark we are looking for a dynamic and motivated F&B Manager lead our F&B operations including the first season of Sapphire Patio the new hotspot in the heart of historic Antwerp.   • Sapphire Breakfast a luxurious take on the continental breakfast with local touches served every morning between 06:30 and 11:00.

  • Sapphire Bistro Modern takes on classic dishes designed by our new chef serving lunch & dinner to both inhouse guests and external visitors.

  • Sapphire Patio by SCAPA HOME The new place to be in Antwerp for Summer 2026 and beyond opened its door in early May 26. An Oasis of peace and brilliant service in the historic heart of Antwerp. Designed and laid out by SCAPA HOME.

What you will do:

  • Lead and oversee the day-to-day operations of the F&B department ensuring the highest standards in planning presentation and service delivery at all times.

  • Develop and execute strategic initiatives that drive departmental performance and consistently achieve business targets.

  • Ensure full compliance with health and safety regulations maintaining a secure and well managed environment for both guests and teams.

  • Inspire coach and develop your team to deliver outstanding service fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.

  • Maintain rigorous control over departmental staff cost budgets and expenses ensuring operational efficiency without compromising quality.

  • Collaborate closely with other departments such as Meetings & Events and the kitchen to create a seamless guest journey and elevate overall satisfaction.

Job requirements

Your key responsibilities:

  • Create refined experiences by overseeing our varied outlets and ensuring high quality service.

  • Lead and uplift your team of talented F&B associates fostering collaboration growth and a positive motivating atmosphere.

  • Ensure smooth cooperation with Meetings and Events and the Kitchen team delivering precision and elegance matching our location

  • Communicate with clarity building strong connections with stakeholders in and outside the hotel and supporting effective daily coordination.

  • Use data intelligently through tools such as PMI or similar budgeting platforms while working confidently with digital systems and maintaining strong overall computer literacy to support informed decisionmaking.

  • Optimise procurement processes through experience with platforms such as HSM and a strong understanding of Belgian suppliers especially in Antwerp.

  • Safeguard all compliance standards including HACCP requirements and relevant union regulations.


Requirements

  • Hospitality Expertise: Proven experience as an F&B Manager in a highquality hospitality establishment

  • Creative Excellence: Ability to design and deliver innovative guestfocused service.

  • Strong Team Spirit: Collaborative approach supported by clear professional communication.

  • Adaptability: Confidence in performing at a high level in a fastpaced environment.

  • Food Safety Knowledge: Solid understanding of HACCP and strict adherence to hygiene and guest & staff safety & security standards.

  • Passion for the Craft: Genuine enthusiasm for culinary arts and exceptional cuisine.

  • Financial Awareness: Strong grasp of staff cost management and operational efficiency.
