Job Summary

Enterprise Solution Architect

Location: Brussels Belgium
Work Model: Hybrid
Start Date: ASAP
Contract Duration: 6 Months

We are seeking an experienced Enterprise Solution Architect with 810 years of experience to join a leading enterprise project in Brussels. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in solution architecture cloud technologies Java-based enterprise applications and DevOps with the ability to lead technical teams and drive architecture decisions.

Key Responsibilities

Define end-to-end solution architecture for enterprise applications.
Lead development teams and provide technical leadership throughout the project lifecycle.
Collaborate with business stakeholders product owners and technical teams to translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions.
Drive technical estimations solution design and project planning activities.
Establish development standards coding best practices and architecture governance.
Mentor developers and support Agile delivery across multiple teams.
Design secure scalable and high-performing cloud-native applications.
Promote DevOps practices CI/CD automation and continuous improvement initiatives.

Required Skills

810 years of experience in Solution Architecture or Enterprise Application Architecture.
Strong expertise in Java Spring Boot and Microservices.
Proven experience designing enterprise-scale application architectures.
Hands-on experience with AWS and/or Microsoft Azure.
Strong knowledge of DevOps CI/CD pipelines and cloud-native development.
Experience with Oracle PostgreSQL or other enterprise database technologies.
Excellent leadership communication and stakeholder management skills.
Experience working in Agile environments.

Nice to Have

Experience within the Banking or Financial Services sector.
TOGAF AWS Architect or Azure Architect certifications.
Knowledge of Open Banking APIs.
Experience with AI-assisted development tools.
Performance engineering expertise.
Security architecture and Identity & Access Management (IAM) integration experience.
