NextLink is having an existing position as a Business Analyst Data & AI in Brussels area Belgium.


General information:

You translate business needs into clear data-driven requirements and insights that inform decisions and guide AI/analytics delivery. You will work cross-functionally with business IT data and AI teams to shape use cases validate solutions and ensure measurable outcomes. A key part of your role: crafting executiveready PowerPoint narratives that secure stakeholder buy-in and drive adoption


Key Responsibilities

Requirements & Analysis: Gather and document business needs; analyze data to generate actionable insights.

Insights & Reporting: Build dashboards (Power BI); deliver ad-hoc analyses and clear

recommendations.

Project Support: Take a coordinating role in project planning follow-up testing and deployment;

manage risks and draft and maintain documentation.

Stakeholder Engagement: Act as liaison between business IT and other teams; facilitate workshops in Dutch French and English. Excellent communication and stakeholder management skillsable to engage both technical and non-technical audiences.

AI & Data Adoption: Support integration of AI/GenAI solutions and change management.

PowerPoint Storytelling: Create compelling decks with clear narratives visuals and ROI to influence decision-making and maintain a consistent visual standard.


Profile:

Language: English fluent Dutch fluent French fluent

Degree in Business Economics Information Management or related field.

Minimum 3 years experience

Business Analyst in data projects

Proven ability to work in project mode (structured methodologies planning coordination)

Experience collaborating in cross-functional teams

Excel

SQL

Power BI

Proven PowerPoint storytelling expertise

Insurance sector

Required Skills:

57 years of professional software engineering experience (medior to senior level preferred). Strong Python programming skills with solid understanding of software engineering principles design patterns and best practices. Strong technical analysis architecture and design skills. Hands-on experience with AI-assisted development tools such as Claude Code GitHub Copilot Cursor or similar AI coding assistants. Experience designing AI agents developer tooling plugins prompt engineering or AI-enabled software development workflows is highly desirable. Experience building scalable software for cloud environments. Strong debugging and troubleshooting skills. Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills. Passion for delivering high-quality software and reliable releases. Ability to balance tactical delivery with long-term architectural vision. Strong ownership mindset and decision-making ability. Experience mentoring and collaborating across multiple engineering teams.
