BMC Helix ITSM CMDB Engineer for NATO with security clearance

Five engineers one platform and an alliance headquarters that runs its IT service management on it.

You will engineer the BMC Helix ITSM and CMDB platform at the alliance headquarters in Brussels as part of a dedicated capacity team.

What you will be doing

• Engineering and maintaining the BMC Helix ITSM platform and its configuration management database
• Keeping the CMDB accurate: data model relationships reconciliation and the health of the records themselves
• Supporting incident problem change and service request processes as the platform owner rather than as a user
• Working with the service owners on continuous service improvement
• Documenting what you build to a standard that survives a handover

What you will need

• Real BMC Helix ITSM engineering experience not administration alongside another role
• Solid CMDB and configuration management practice
• ITIL grounding and ideally the certification to go with it
• The professional certifications the requirement asks for BMC Helix and ITIL among them

Worth knowing before you apply

• Fully on-site at the alliance headquarters in Brussels
• You would be joining a small dedicated engineering team not working alone
• The engagement runs in two phases: a dedicated capacity phase first then a managed service phase

Practical detail

• Contract engagement initial phase of six to twelve months
