What this opportunity involves:
Based in Canberra youll be working on-site with our client one of the largest globally recognized tech brands!
As the Workplace Coordinator Site Lead youll be the primary on-site representative managing facilities operations vendor relationships financial processes and project delivery. At JLL we are collectively shaping a brighter way for our clients ourselves and our fellow employees and in this autonomous role youll make meaningful decisions that directly impact workplace experience. Working independently with mobile technology youll build strong client partnerships while maintaining excellence in health and safety standards with 24/7 emergency support responsibility when needed.
An overview of the role:
- Act as single point of contact for client stakeholders managing daily operations and service delivery
- Build strong client relationships through regular engagement consistently meeting contract KPIs
- Manage vendor performance procurement and compliance within budget
- Oversee purchase orders invoice processing and budget tracking
- Lead facilities projects from planning through completion before Place in Service dates
- Conduct site inspections coordinate maintenance activities and manage work orders
- Maintain health and safety compliance and operational documentation
- Provide 24/7 emergency support and work autonomously using mobile technology
Sounds like you This is what we are looking for:
- Tertiary qualifications OR experience in Management Business Operations/Project Management Facilities Management or related field
- Practical knowledge of building services and maintenance operations
- Strong Microsoft Office proficiency (Word Excel PowerPoint Outlook)
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with strong presentation ability
- Client-focused with passion for service excellence
- Proven multitasking ability with keen attention to detail
- Goal-oriented with commitment to continuous improvement
- Ability to work autonomously and make independent decisions
- Previous site-based facilities management or workplace coordination experience (preferred)
- Experience in vendor management and procurement processes (preferred)
- Knowledge of facilities soft services (cleaning catering security) and hard services (HVAC electrical plumbing) (preferred)
- Understanding of Health Safety & Environment (HS&E) regulations and compliance (preferred)
- Track record in project coordination and delivery (preferred)
- Knowledge of space planning principles (preferred)
- Experience with mobile technology and facilities management software (preferred)
