About the role:
Reporting to the Senior WHS Advisor youll play a pivotal rolein advancing safety and wellbeing across our organisation. Fromdeveloping and embedding WHS systems to engaging with teams andpromoting safety best practices youll be a key team member in ourjourney towards excellence in workplace health and safety.
The ideal candidate will be a passionate and pragmatic WorkHealth and Safety Advisor who believes that creating a safeworkplace starts with people. Youll inspire a positive safetyculture by building trusted relationships leading with empathyand empowering others to take ownership of health and safety -bringing people on the journey and helping them understand thewhy behind what we do.
What youll bring to the role:
You will align with our values and ideally have the followingcompetencies:
- A relevant qualification in Work Health and Safety or a related discipline.
- Experience implementing WHS systems in a practical team-based environment.
- Strong understanding of WHS legislation codes of practice and injury management processes.
- Exceptional communication and relationship-building skills across all levels of an organisation.
- A proactive mindset with the ability to influence cultural change and drive safety performance.
- Investigative problem-solving and analytical skills.
Pre-employment Requirements:
- Current C Class Drivers Licence
- Construction Awareness White Card
- National Police Clearance
- Right to work in Australia
