Key accountabilities

UNLOADING INCOMING RAW MATERIAL

  • Ensure that the incoming paperwork matches purchase orders

  • Unload the container/truck safely

  • Load product into the appropriate area in the warehouse

  • Follow stacking protocol to ensure warehouse safety including correct marking of all bags

RAW MATERIAL SUPPLY FOR PRODUCTION

  • Ensure that materials are provided to production lines on time to allow no delays to the production lines

  • Ensure that finished goods are stored in the correct locations

  • Ensure that returned part bags are controlled

LOADING OUTGOING PRODUCT FOR DELIVERY

  • Load trucks safely ensure that loading zone safety is maintained

  • Ensure that the loads are covered before truck is allowed to leave site

  • Ensure that the correct products are loaded onto the correct trucks

  • Ensure that all delivery documentation is in order including the checklists with photos of each load

GENERAL

  • Ensure stock accuracy for Raw Material and finish good in warehouse

  • Allocate raw material storage locations within the warehouse to maximize space utilization and ensure materials are easy to identify

  • Conduct daily forklift checks

  • Ensure that the warehouse is always in a safe condition

  • Maintain warehouse and yard housekeeping to an agreed standard

Qualifications and Experience

Education

  • Minimum High school diploma or equivalent (Senior High School graduate) in any field of study.

Experience & Industry Exposure

  • Experience of the warehouse end to end process

  • Experience and understanding documents for all incoming and delivery requirements

  • Able to trace any transaction of raw material and product during operation

Technical Knowledge & Systems

  • SAP

  • Microsoft Office

  • Safety Procedure (Take 5 LOTOTO Safety Golden Rule etc.)

Skills and Competencies

  • Computer skills are a must to use Microsoft office tools for reporting.

  • Appropriate forklift licenses

  • Working knowledge of National Heavy Vehicle regulations regarding chain of responsibility

  • Basic SAP knowledge in order to check orders and deliveries.

Reporting Relationships

  • This is an individual contributor position reporting to Production & Maintenance Manager

  • This position requires close coordination with the Production Supervisor QC Supervisor and Customer Service team to ensure efficient warehouse operations accurate inventory management and on-time product deliveries.
