In this pivotal role you will oversee hospitality accommodation cleaning transport and facilities operations ensuring services are delivered safely efficiently and to the highest standards. As the senior on-site leader you will play a critical role in building strong client relationships leading diverse teams and driving operational excellence across the site.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the day-to-day operations of the base including catering accommodation cleaning transport and facilities services.
- Inspire coach and develop a multidisciplinary team to achieve operational and client service objectives.
- Ensure all services are delivered safely efficiently and in line with Defence contractual and company requirements.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders acting as the primary on-site client contact.
- Manage budgets reporting resource planning and performance against contractual KPIs.
- Drive a culture of safety accountability continuous improvement and operational excellence.
- Ensure compliance with Defence security requirements site protocols and regulatory obligations.
About You
To be successful in this role you will bring:
- Proven experience in operations facilities hospitality or site management within a complex service environment.
- Strong leadership capability with a track record of leading diverse teams and achieving operational results.
- Excellent stakeholder engagement and relationship management skills.
- Sound financial and commercial acumen including budget management and reporting experience.
- A proactive solutions-focused approach with the ability to adapt to changing priorities.
- Experience within Defence remote operations mining resources or large-scale service environments will be highly regarded.
- Australian Citizenship (mandatory).
- The ability to obtain and maintain a National Police Check and Defence Security Clearance.
