LETS EXPLORE THE ROLEThe purpose of this role is to work as part of a team of Riggers performing installation maintenance and inspection work on radio broadcast and telecommunication structures/sites across Australia. Key Responsibilities:Working as part of a team of riggers performing installation and maintenance work on radio broadcast and telecommunication structures across dismantle and maintain masts towers poles and associated plantWorking at heights on all areas of large broadcast and oversee concrete poursOperate vehicles and mechanical aids where a relevant ticket is heldTerminate and install feeders waveguides and coaxial cableFault finding on antennas tails and mast and tower verticalityUnder guidance of the team leader haul and install waveguides feeders and coaxial feeders in the manufacturers approved mannerInstall and inspect underground duct cables and earthingUnder guidance of the team leader mark out work sites using reference pegs or points to the prescribed tolerancesInstall and maintain earth station antennasAssist in EME SurveysAssist in the installation of rigid lineAssist in the installation of low and high-power transmitters and associated equipmentTake charge of components of the project as directed by the team leaderUndertake site Mast and Tower inspections in accordance with Company systems and processorsComplete inspections templates on digital and timely time-sheeting and management of leave/TOILAs part of a team be able to work away from home in remote areas for extended periodsLETS HEAR ABOUT YOUThis role requires on-site attendance regularly working away from home for extended periods and is unable to be performed remotely or from home due to the nature of the role.
