TECSight Field Manager

Wagga Wagga or Branch Based

Position Overview

Reporting to the Integrated Solutions Manager you will provide day-to-day leadership to the TECSight Field team while helping shape the strategic direction and business model for our field-based services. You will work closely with customers managers and teams across the business to improve machinery set-up and optimisation strengthen precision agriculture capability support quality data management and provide practical training that helps our customers get the best possible value from their equipment and technology.

What Youll Be Doing

  • Leading coaching and developing the TECSight Field Specialist team
  • Developing and executing the strategy for field-based TECSight services
  • Supporting machinery start-ups and optimisation activities
  • Training service sales and TECSight employees in machine set-up data capture and product optimisation
  • Coordinating customer demonstrations clinics training events and product optimisation days
  • Supporting continuous improvement in pre-delivery quality control processes
  • Providing leadership across the business in agronomic and practical farming knowledge
  • Helping customers use quality machine and agronomic data to support better decision-making
  • Identifying tailored solutions that meet customer needs and create broader opportunities across equipment parts labour and technology-based services
  • Building and maintaining strong relationships with key John Deere personnel
  • Supporting the ongoing adoption and mainstreaming of Precision Ag Solutions across the dealership
  • Maintaining accurate customer interaction records and ensuring time is recorded and charged appropriately
  • Participating in recruitment performance reviews employee development and other people leadership activities

What Youll Bring

  • 7 years experience in John Deere diagnostics agronomy or precision agriculture
    • Strong leadership coaching and team development skills
    • Excellent communication and relationship-building ability
    • Customer-focused with a passion for delivering exceptional service
    • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities
    • Advanced knowledge of precision agriculture technology and John Deere systems including Service Advisor and DTAC
