About the Role:
The Technical Responsive Maintenance Officer supports the delivery of responsive maintenance services by assessing requests reviewing scopes and costs monitoring contractor performance and ensuring compliance with service standards and regulatory requirements. Working closely with internal teams and contractors the Technical Responsive Maintenance Support Officer plays a key role in driving quality outcomes operational efficiency and positive experiences for renters.
The Technical Responsive Maintenance Officer will be required to work standard Customer Service Team operating hours 8:30 am to 4:30 pm Monday to Friday.
The annual Salary for this role is $101214 plus superannuation and access to salary packaging.
Responsibilities:
- Provide technical advice and support on responsive maintenance matters including complex requests risk identification and maintenance decision-making.
- Manage responsive maintenance administration ensuring accurate records work order tracking prioritisation and timely follow-up of outstanding requests. ess quotes invoices and maintenance costs approving works within delegated authority and ensuring value for money.
- Liaise with contractors monitor performance and compliance and escalate issues impacting service delivery.
- Monitor maintenance performance against KPIs SLAs and regulatory requirements identifying risks trends and improvement opportunities.
- Prepare reports support compliance obligations and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives that enhance maintenance services and renter outcomes.
Essential Skills and Experience:
- Knowledge of residential maintenance building repairs and maintenance service standards.
- Ability to assess maintenance requests contractor reports quotes invoices and costs.
- Strong administrative analytical and record-keeping skills.
- Experience using maintenance or property management systems (Zavanti desirable).
- Excellent communication organisational and prioritisation skills.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering quality customer outcomes.
- Must hold a current Australian Driving Licence
