What we are looking for:

We are seeking a motivated and reliable Team Member - Parks Delivery to assist in the construction installation and maintenance of parks infrastructure and landscape projects across the Fraser Coast region. Working within the Parks Infrastructure team you will help deliver high-quality outcomes that enhance public open spaces while maintaining a strong focus on safety teamwork and customer service.

What your day will look like:
  • Deliver parks infrastructure and landscape construction works to approved plans and specifications
  • Operate and maintain Council vehicles plant tools and equipment safely
  • Conduct pre-start checks and basic equipment maintenance
  • Apply safe work practices including hazard identification and risk controls
  • Record work activities timesheets and service requests using Council systems
  • Provide professional customer service and respond appropriately to public enquiries

What youll need for success:
  • Current Queensland Class C or CA Driver Licence
  • General Construction Induction Card (White Card)
  • Experience delivering parks infrastructure and/or landscape construction works
  • Ability to safely operate and maintain construction tools plant and equipment
  • Sound understanding of WHS requirements and safe work practices
  • Strong teamwork and communication skills
  • Ability to use mobile devices and works management systems to record work activities
Whats nice to have:
  • Current Queensland MR Driver Licence
  • Certificate II or III in Landscape Construction Civil Construction or similar
  • Plant or construction tickets (e.g. skid steer excavator loader traffic control)
  • First Aid Certificate
