What will my time look like

• Delivering academic and wellbeing programs to students.
• Support the delivery of vocational training programs offered to students; and
• Support the Head of Campus/School in the operation of the campus to achieve educational wellbeing and vocational objectives.
• Create a nurturing and supportive learning environment which is learner focused safe supportive and aligned to the curriculum.
• Collaborate with like-minded peers to plan write and deliver structured lessons that differentiate and personalise the learning for each student.
• Assess and provide meaningful and supportive feedback and report on student learning.
• Supporting young people with diverse learning and support needs including disabilities behavioural challenges ASD ADHD/ADD and mental health needs
• Support our young people to know success!

Am I a good match

• Hold a relevant University degree current Queensland College of Teachers Registration
• First Aid Certificate and CPR Qualifications
• Apply appropriate knowledge to plan and prepare teaching and learning programs to meet the diverse characteristics needs and learning styles of students who are at risk of disengaging from education
• Implement effective inclusive teaching practices including the use of learning technologies and assessment to create a supportive environment where students are encouraged to reach their full potential.
• Communicate effectively with students using strong interpersonal skills and implement behaviour management strategies that support a positive and inclusive learning environment.
