We are seeking a passionate and collaborative Early Childhood Teacher to join our team at Lockington Kindergarten in a fixed-term position from November 2026 until July 2027.

As an Early Childhood Teacher you will provide a high-quality educational program through collaboration discussion and critical reflection with the Educational Leader education team and co-educators.

You will build strong respectful relationships with children and families and contribute to decision-making that supports each childs learning development and wellbeing.

Based at our Lockington Kindergarten the role will work across a fortnightly roster:

• Week 1: Monday Wednesday and Thursday 8:15am 3:45pm

• Week 2: Monday Wednesday and Thursday 8:15am 3:45pm

In this role you will:

• Develop and implement an educational program in line with Regulation 73 of the Education and Care Services National Regulations.

• Regularly meet with the Educational Leader to discuss reflect on and develop the educational program.

• Support and guide educators in implementing the educational program.

• Develop collaborative relationships with colleagues to strengthen skills and continuously improve practice.

• Build meaningful partnerships with children families and the wider community.

• Incorporate First Nations perspectives respectfully and meaningfully into your pedagogy and practice.

• Contribute to a positive inclusive and reflective team culture.

You are a qualified Early Childhood Teacher who is passionate about childrens learning and wellbeing and enjoys working collaboratively with others.

You will bring:

• An Early Childhood Teaching qualification approved by ACECQA.

• Current Victorian Institute of Teaching (VIT) registration Early Childhood.

• Current First Aid and CPR certification (Level 2).

• Experience working within the early childhood education sector.

• A commitment to reflective practice and continuous improvement.

• Strong communication and relationship-building skills.

• Professionalism flexibility and a collaborative approach.

• An understanding of and commitment to incorporating First Nations perspectives into early childhood pedagogy and practice.
