The Opportunity

With a strong pipeline of upcoming projects driving continued growth we are now looking for an experienced Talent Acquisition Advisor to support our growth and join the team.

Reporting to the Recruitment Manager youll play a key role in attracting and recruiting quality people across our operational and corporate teams with a particular focus on construction and project-based roles. This is a hands-on internal recruitment position where youll partner closely with hiring managers build talent pipelines and deliver a positive candidate experience from attraction through to commencement.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage end-to-end recruitment across a variety of roles.
  • Source and attract candidates through job boards talent databases LinkedIn and industry networks.
  • Build and maintain talent pools for current and future workforce needs.
  • Partner with hiring managers to understand recruitment requirements and provide market insights.
  • Coordinate interviews reference checks and pre-employment activities.
  • Support onboarding and mobilisation activities for new employees.
  • Maintain recruitment records and provide recruitment updates and reporting.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives across recruitment and workforce planning.

About You

To be successful in this role you will have:

  • Proven recruitment or talent acquisition experience across both technical based roles (Engineering Supervisors and Project Management) and workforce roles (Construction Workers and Machine Operators).
  • Experience recruiting within civil construction mining infrastructure engineering or similar industries highly regarded.
  • Strong sourcing and candidate attraction skills.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management capability.
  • Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple vacancies simultaneously.
  • Experience using LinkedIn Recruiter SEEK Talent Search or similar sourcing tools.
  • A proactive solutions-focused approach and high attention to detail.
  • Internal recruitment experience is preferred however agency recruiters looking to transition into an internal role are encouraged to apply.
