We are seeking an experienced and hands-on Cleaning & Accommodation Supervisor to join our Defence team at Townsville. This role is critical in leading day-to-day cleaning and accommodation services ensuring high standards across site facilities while supporting a safe compliant and high-performing team environment.

About the Role:
You will play a key role in delivering essential services within a fast-paced operational setting working closely with site leadership and operational teams to maintain hygiene safety and service excellence.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Supervise and coordinate daily cleaning and housekeeping services.
- Manage scheduled and reactive cleaning requirements.
- Develop and maintain staff rosters.
- Ensure compliance with HSEQ and safety standards.
- Maintain high cleaning and hygiene standards.
- Support laundry linen and accommodation services as required.
- Provide excellent customer service and stakeholder engagement.
- Complete reporting audits and stock control activities.
- Oversee accommodation operations to ensure a clean safe and comfortable environment for residents.
- Support the efficient allocation readiness and presentation of accommodation facilities.
What were looking for:
- Proven experience in a supervisory cleaning or facilities role.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- High attention to detail and standards.
- Ability to work independently and within a team.
- Competency in Microsoft Office (Word Excel Outlook).
- First Aid Certificate (desirable).
- Certificate IV in Cleaning Management (desirable).
- Ability to obtain and maintain a National Police Check and Defence Security Clearance.
- Australian Citizenship is a mandatory requirement for this position.
