From greenfield to operations our Engineering Project Delivery and Asset Management capabilities deliver end to end solutions from strategy and feasibility through to design delivery and operational support across battery minerals mineral sands gold bulk commodities and water as well as broader sectors including agribusiness industrial and ports.

We are seeking a driven Structural Engineer to join our Brisbane team and support the delivery of diverse structural projects across the mining and resources sector. This role is ideal for an engineer with 4 years structural engineering experience strong design capability and a proactive approach to delivering successful project outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Execute structural design tasks ensuring adherence to design specifications and standards.
  • Collaborate with senior engineers project managers and other stakeholders to develop and refine designs.
  • Provide technical support throughout the design phase including calculations modelling and documentation.
  • Ensure all designs comply with safety requirements and Australian Standards.
  • Identify and assist in resolving design challenges and issues.
  • Prepare and review technical documentation reports and drawings.
  • Liaise with clients contractors and suppliers to ensure design requirements are met.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Bachelors degree in Structural Engineering or a related field.
  • 4-7 years of experience in structural engineering with a focus on detailed design within consultancy environment.
  • Strong understanding of structural design principles and methodologies.
  • Proven experience in executing design tasks under the supervision of senior engineers.
  • Onsite experience in mining environments desirable.
  • Space Gass Strand 7 Navisworks AutoCAD Microsoft Suite experienceadvantageous.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across multidisciplinary teams.
  • Proficient in relevant engineering software and tools.
  • RPEQ or working towards registration
