About the position

Bendigo Tech School is part of the Victorian Governments commitment to developing enterprise capabilities needed by young people to leverage opportunities in the overlapping fields of Science Technology Engineering Arts and Mathematics (STEAM). Our mission is to build students enterprise capabilities to increase their job prospects by enhancing their skills in the areas of digital technologies critical and creative thinking communication analytics planning problem-solving self-management and collaboration.

The STEAM Curriculum & Operations Manager is the senior internal delivery lead for Bendigo Tech School. The role is responsible for coordinating the end-to-end design scheduling quality assurance operational readiness and continuous improvement of Bendigo Tech Schools learning programs.

To hold this La Trobe University position the occupant must hold current Teacher Registration with the Victorian Institute of Teaching. with this specific link: and Experience

To be considered for this position you will have;

  • A degree in Education or a relevant STEAM discipline with substantial experience in curriculum design program leadership and educational operations; postgraduate study or equivalent experience highly regarded.
  • Ability to develop innovative STEAM programs using advanced technologies and contemporary pedagogy.
  • Ability to be responsible for the delivery of educational programs.
  • Demonstrated management and leadership skills with experience in managing and leading staff to promote a cohesive and effective team and managing workflows.
  • Proven experience and success in managing staff performance and development.
