About the Role
As part of our External Relations and Sustainability team in Perth we are seeking a passionate Social Performance Advisor to join us on a 12-month fixed-term contract.
Reporting to the Social Performance Manager you will play a key role in strengthening relationships supporting meaningful community outcomes and helping shape initiatives that create lasting value for our communities and business. Working across Alcoas regional operations youll collaborate with diverse stakeholders and partner closely with our Community Relations and Social Performance teams to drive positive impact.
Reporting to our Social Performance Manager you will have the opportunity to shape impactful strategies foster meaningful stakeholder relationships and drive sustainable change within our organisation. Your ability to collaborate with diverse teams will be crucial as you support our Community Relations and Social Performance teams across Alcoas regional operations.
Your key activities and contributions will be:
Leading rollout implementation of the new Social Information Management System (SIMS) for Australian operations including training delivery user support and post go-live adoption.
Coordinate with global project teams IT specialists and Australian stakeholders to support delivery against agreed timelines requirements and governance expectations.
Drive change management and stakeholder engagement activities to support consistent uptake of SIMS across Australian operations.
Support the transition from existing social performance systems and processes including data migration process alignment and continuous improvement opportunities.
Driving collaboration across teams to promote understanding and alignment with social performance goals. Developing and implementing methodologies to gather quantitative and qualitative data on social performance indicators.
Support Alcoa Australia in the application monitoring evaluation and reporting of Social & Human Rights Impacts and Risks.
Staying current on relevant industry standards regulations and best practices related to social performance and incorporate relevant innovations into the organisations practices.

What you can bring to the role
Tertiary qualifications in Social Sciences Sustainability Business or a related field.
Previous experience working in the social performance or community relations field.
Proven experience in social impact assessment stakeholder engagement and the development and implementation of social performance strategies.
Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret and communicate complex data.
Current C-Class Drivers Licence is preferred but not essential as some ad-hoc travel to Alcoas site will be .
