About the Role
Play your part in delivering one of WAs largest infrastructure projects. As a Site Engineer on the Tonkin Extension Alliance you will support the delivery of the $1 billion Tonkin Highway extensionenhancing Perths southeast transport network. The project includes a 14km highway extension and upgrades to 4.5km of Thomas Road featuring interchanges underpasses and associated infrastructure.
Reporting to the Project Manager you will help drive construction activities to ensure works are delivered safely on time and to the required quality standards.
- Plan and coordinate construction schedules and work programs to meet project targets
- Monitor project performance including daily cost tracking and reporting
- Support procurement and management of subcontractors and suppliers
- Provide on-site technical support and ensure compliance with specifications and drawings
- Identify and manage risks while maintaining strong HSEQ standards
- Work collaboratively with Supervisors and senior engineers to drive efficient project delivery
Your Skills and Experience
- Relevant tertiary qualification in Civil Engineering or similar
- Experience working on civil infrastructure projects ideally within a principal contractor environment
- Exposure to road and/or bridge projects (MRWA experience highly regarded)
- Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills
- Ability to work effectively within site-based teams and fast-paced environments
- Commitment to delivering quality outcomes safely on time and within budget
