Service Now Functional Consultant
Job Summary
This is 6 month contract opportunity
We are seeking an experienced ServiceNow Functional Consultant to support the delivery of enterprise ServiceNow solutions. Working closely with business stakeholders product owners developers testers and support teams you will translate business requirements into functional designs and user stories ensuring successful delivery of ServiceNow enhancements and initiatives.
- Engage with business stakeholders to gather analyse and document business and functional requirements.
- Facilitate workshops and requirements-gathering sessions to understand business processes and desired outcomes.
- Translate business requirements into user stories acceptance criteria workflow specifications and functional documentation.
- Support ServiceNow configuration activities by providing detailed functional requirements and guidance to development teams.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies including backlog refinement sprint planning reviews and stakeholder demonstrations.
- Coordinate and support UAT activities including test planning test data preparation defect management triage and business user support.
- Work collaboratively with developers testers architects and business teams to ensure successful solution delivery.
- Assist with release planning change management and deployment readiness activities.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives across ServiceNow processes and workflows.
Qualifications :
- Strong experience working as a ServiceNow Functional Consultant Business Analyst or Functional Specialist.
- Solid understanding of ServiceNow modules workflows and platform capabilities.
- Proven experience documenting business functional and configuration requirements.
- Experience creating user stories acceptance criteria process maps and functional specifications.
- Strong Agile/Scrum delivery experience.
- Experience coordinating and supporting UAT activities.
- Ability to engage and influence stakeholders across business and technical teams.
- Strong analytical facilitation and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
