Our Opportunity

We are seeking a Senior Structural Engineer to join our growing Brisbane team.

This role is ideal for engineers with 4 years of experience who are looking to broaden their technical expertise contribute to a diverse range of building projects and take the next step in their professional career.

Working alongside experienced engineers youll be involved in delivering innovative and technically challenging structural solutions across a variety of projects. Youll enjoy a collaborative environment with opportunities for career progression flexible working arrangements and exposure to landmark developments.

In this role you will:

Structural Engineering

• Lead the structural design and delivery of projects including high-rise buildings warehouses industrial facilities data centres and other building developments.

• Prepare structural analysis calculations technical reports specifications and design documentation in accordance with applicable codes and standards.

• Review and check engineering calculations drawings and documentation prepared by junior engineers and drafters.

• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers while ensuring high-quality project delivery.

• Prepare technical submissions and other project-related deliverables as required.

• Support construction activities by responding to RFIs reviewing shop drawings assessing design changes and conducting site inspections when required.

• Apply a deep understanding of engineering principles to devise and deliver practical and economical solutions to problems.

Project Delivery

• Coordinate with clients architects contractors and multidisciplinary engineering teams throughout the project lifecycle.

• Manage project schedules deliverables and priorities to meet client expectations and project deadlines.

• Ensure compliance with relevant regulations design standards quality management systems and workplace health and safety requirements.

• Build and maintain strong client relationships while contributing to the successful delivery and commercial performance of projects.

Who are we looking for

• Bachelors degree in Civil or Structural Engineering.

• Membership with Engineers Australia; CPEng and/or NER accreditation is highly regarded.

• 4 years of experience in structural engineering within a consulting environment.

• Proficiency in ETABS SPACE GASS RAM Structural System and RAPT.

• Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook Word Excel and PowerPoint).

• Site experience on at least one building project is highly desirable.

• Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise multiple tasks effectively.

• Excellent analytical problem-solving communication and attention-to-detail skills.
