The Opportunity:

KBR is seeking a Senior Structural Designer to join our Sydney team. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced and technically strong professional looking to step into a senior role with increased responsibility and influence across major projects.

Working within a high-performing multidisciplinary team you will play a key role in the design and delivery of structural solutions across a diverse portfolio includingDefence Maritime Infrastructure and Water projects. You will contribute yourexpertiseto complex design challenges while supporting the development of junior designers andmaintainingexcellence in delivery.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliverhigh qualitystructural design and modelling outputs across majordefence water and infrastructure projects

• Take ownership of structural documentation and detailing ensuring compliance with project requirements and KBR quality standards

• Collaborate effectively within multidisciplinary project teams

• Support design coordination and contribute to resolving complex technical challenges

• Ensure deliverables meet budgetprogramand quality expectations

• Provide guidance and mentoring to junior designers andmodellers

• Contribute to continuous improvement in design processes and delivery standards

About You

You are a technically capable and detail-oriented designer with strong experience in structuralmodellingacross complex infrastructure projects. You bring a proactive approach to delivery enjoy working collaboratively and are ready to take on a more senior role within a respected globalorganisation.

QualificationsSkillsand Experience

• Established experience in structural design/modelling within an engineering consultancy environment

• Strongproficiencyin RevitAutoCADand Navisworks

• Demonstrated experience across buildings and infrastructure projects with exposure to water infrastructure (treatment plants pump stations pipelines or related assets) highly regarded

• Experience working onDefence maritime or large-scale civil projects isadvantageous

• Solid understanding of structural detailingdocumentationand coordination requirements

• Proven ability to deliver outputs aligned to budgetscheduleand quality expectations

• Experience mentoring or supporting junior team members

• Associate Degreeor Diploma in DesignEngineeringor related discipline
